The Mission of Kidz Play, nfp is
To provide extra-curricular recreation opportunities for children with families facing economic hardships.
How did we get started?
About our Founder
Kyra DeNormandie is a Junior at New York University and founder of Kidz Play. She realized at age 11 that not all kids her age had the same opportunities to participate in sports and extra curricular activities because of their families financial struggles. She decided to do something about that and founded Kidz Play in December 2014. Kyra has spoken at several local community groups about Kidz Play and continues to be an advocate for recreation programs and opportunities for all kids.
